UEFA's strategy – Together for the Future of Football – was unveiled at the 43rd Ordinary Congress in Rome, February 2019.
It covers the period between 2019 and 2024, and has been drawn up in consultation with European national associations, leagues, clubs and players' representative groups.
It is designed to ensure that UEFA remains true to its core values as the governing body of European football, and is in a position to drive progressive initiatives and programmes to be implemented over the next five years.
The strategy is based on four main pillars:
These themes focus, among others, on increasing participation, improving good governance at all levels, allowing teams more opportunities to play competitive matches and enhancing engagement for football fans around the world.
The strategy calls for all football stakeholders to work together in a spirit of cooperation and togetherness – with the overall well-being of the European game always in mind.
