SC Braga have unveiled Jesualdo Ferreira as their new coach following the departure of José Peseiro at the end of the 2012/13 campaign.
Ferreira was previously in charge of Braga between 2003 and 2006 but has been without a club since parting company with Sporting Clube de Portugal last month. The 67-year-old, who has also coached FC Porto, said: "I'm very happy to return to this club where there are many records to beat.
"Braga have grown in the last ten years and it would have been fair if they had won a national title. My goal is to win as many matches as possible. We also want a team that plays attractive football and brings fans to the stadium."
The club's president, António Salvador, added: "This is a happy day for me and the Braga family because now we have the man that ten years ago started a successful cycle." Braga finished fourth in last season's Portuguese Liga.
