NK Zagreb and HNK Hajduk Split continued their sparring at the top of the Prva HNL with victories today. The Croatian Premier League leaders maintained their three-point lead over Hajduk with a 2-1 win over city rivals NK Dinamo Zagreb, whilst Hajduk beat NK Kamen Ingrad Velika 5-0.

Early scare
Jerko Leko looked to have thrown a spanner in the Zagreb works with his 23rd-minute strike, but replies from Vedran Jese (55) and Dalibor Poldrugac (88) snatched the points.

Five-star performance
Two goals apiece from Tomislav Erceg and Vlatko Dolonga and a fine goal from Zvonimir Deranja gave Hajduk an easy three points.

Hrman opener
Third-placed NK Varteks went down to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of NK Pomorac, despite taking the lead through Danijel Hrman's 39th-minute effort.

Sibenik victorious
HNK Šibenik also won 2-1 away at NK Marsonia. NK Slaven Belupo ran out winners by the same scoreline at home to NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac and NK Osijek had second-half goals from Bakir Besirevic and Kresimir Brkic to thank for their 2-0 win at home to NK Zadarkomerc.

Elsewhere
HNK Rijeka were too strong for visiting NK Cakovec, also winning 2-1 and TŠK Topolovac were defeated 3-0 at home by HNK Cibalia. Mladen Krizanovic (3), Mladen Bartolovic (60) and Velimir Grgic (90) found the net.
