Monaco pip Marseille, St-Étienne to third

AS Monaco FC will enter UEFA Champions League qualifying next season after beating FC Lorient 1-0 to pip Olympique de Marseille and AS Saint-Étienne to third place.

AS Monaco FC win 1-0 at FC Lorient to end third and enter UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
• Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco gets 20th-minute winner though Anthony Martial penalty saved by Benjamin Lecomte.

Olympique de Marseille and AS Saint-Étienne finish fourth and fifth despite both winning.
• OM and St-Étienne to compete in next season's UEFA Europa League.
• Champions Paris Saint-Germain beat Stade de Reims 3-2 ahead of next week's cup final against AJ Auxerre.
RC Lens depart Ligue 1 with a win but relegated duo Évian Thonon Gaillard FC and FC Metz lose.
