• Three-time winners Frankfurt ease through to a record sixth final
• Šašić takes her tally for the tie to seven, and 13 goals in seven appearances this season
• Aggregate score breaks the 11-1 semi-final record set by Umeå IK v Kolbotn IL in 2006
• Frankfurt face Paris Saint-Germain or holders VfL Wolfsburg in Berlin final on 14 May

Célia Šašić's impressive form continued as hat-tricks from her and Verónica Boquete wrapped up a record UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final win for 1. FFC Frankfurt.

The German side set a new high for a single leg when they beat Brøndby IF 7-0 in the first instalment and they fell just short of matching that in Denmark.

Colin Bell's side were 5-0 up by half-time after two goals from Boquete and three goals from Šašić, adding to the German's four from the first leg. Brøndby shored things up after the restart, limiting the visitors to Boquete's third of the afternoon six minutes from time. The assist came from Šašić – who else?

Three-time winners Frankfurt advance to a record sixth final in style. Their opponents at Berlin's Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark on 14 May will be either VfL Wolfsburg or Paris Saint-Germain. The French side lead the holders 2-0 going into Sunday's second leg at the Stade Charléty.

The final comes four days after Frankfurt play Wolfsburg on the final day of the Frauen Bundesliga season, with both in title contention.
