André Koolhof

"This is the age when you should be learning to play to get a result. In the final, Spain were the better team – all credit to them – but it's the result that counts. It's surprising that we won really. That's football. But the girls had been getting better and better all season. They had always had technique but their tactical awareness really came on. We grew in strength during the tournament and the players and staff learned how to cope with the stresses of a final."
